Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
The colour and appearance are normal. Urine is normally yellow and clear.
Urine specific gravity provides information regarding the level of an individual's hydration.A value greater than 1.02 indicates relative dehydration.
A range of 1.003 to 1.03 is normal, her value is within normal range.
Leuk stands for leukocytes which are white blood cells. The results had a small response. This identifies infection.
If a significant infection was present however, the nitrites would also be positive.
Leuk can sometimes be mildly positive in the absence of any infection.
Nitrites, protein, glucose and protein all negative- this is normal.
The trace of blood may be related to the sores in the vaginal area. If they are inflamed it would result in a small amount of blood in the urine.
RBC- red blood cells-this is the same as the trace of blood seen
WBC-white blood cells-this would relate to the leukocytes
Epithelial (EPI) cells refer to cells that line or cover the urinary tract and vaginal area. A small amount , as is seen here, is ok.
Casts are formed in the kidneys. They are different types. It may be related to exercise, infection, kidney disease, medication.
UR HCG- negative- not pregnant
The tests for chlamydia and gonorhea were also negative.
There was also no trichomonas (another sexually transmitted infection) , herpes or yeast infection seen.
Clue cells are usually indicative of an infection called bacterial vagninosis.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any additional questions
BV is not considered a STD
Detailed Answer:
Hi
The urine was apparently sent to the lab for culture and herpes was not found.
Unless the doctor considered the urine culture to be false negative. This is when a test gives a negative result but the condition is present.
Bacterial vaginosis can be transmitted or contracted by non sexual contact. It is not considered one of the sexually transmitted infections.
It can occur in females who are not sexually active.

Most test do have a window period
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Most tests do have a window period, this is the time it may take for the test to report a true result.
Herpes can be detected by mainly blood test and culture.
The window period for the blood detection is 4 to 6 weeks. The blood tests is usually looking for antibodies which are formed when the body reacts to the presence of the virus.
In terms of the culture which was the test done, this is looks for the virus itself and should give an earlier idea.
The culture would have given a better idea if it was taken directly from the lesions itself.
Sometimes cultures for HSV are negative if a sample is not taken directly from the sores or small blisters.
You can consider either repeating the culture or waiting a few weeks and performing a blood test.
