Having Stomach Ache. Ultrasound Showed Pelvi-calyceal Fullness With A Post Voide Residue Of 63 Cc. Any Advice?

Question: my daughter is 11 years old . her ultrasound shows that there is right pelvi-calyceal fullness with a post voide residue of 63 cc
she is complaining of pain in the stomach below belly point for over a month.
Except above , her ultrasound is ok.Can yu please explain?my email id is YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for posting your query. I can appreciate concern of a parent.

I have seen the report.

This indicates there is some obstruction in urinary system (fullness in PC system).Normally after passing urine, bladder should be empty but in her case there is 63 cc urine is left in her bladder.

This is not normal and she needs further evaluation for this.

Please consult an urologist for this and get her examined.

There could be various reasons for this like

1. Stone (most likely)
2. Obstruction in urine tube
3. Infection-less likely

The doctor after examination and investigation will give treatment.

There is nothing to worry, but at the same time please do not ignore this.
