Brief Answer:
Possible heart issues an heart check up is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Listening to your symptoms there is a great probability of them being caused by a heart issue possible angina pectoris(pain that comes from heart muscle iscemia ).
I think you may need a total heart check up doing an ECG, an ECHO cardiography and troponine levels.
The anxiety sometimes gives palpitations which also can be seen in an ECG but not in ultrasound or enzyme levels.
Do the evaluation and don't neglect it.

Hope I have answered the question.

Thanks, I had similar symptoms about 5 years ago and had all of those tests done and nothing was found. Should I still be concerned? I have an appointment with a new primary care doctor in 3 weeks do you think I can wait until then or I should go urgently?

You can wait for 3 weeks.

Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
If you are having these symptoms for five years then it is not related to heart issues and probably gastritis. You can wait for 3 weeks.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards

Brief Answer:
Cardiac check up should be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
The situation may have changed from 5 years ago and those tests may need to be repeated. Also there is a possibility that this pain may be muscular pain or from the spine but the cardiac check up should be done first.

Acid reflux is possible.

Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Acid reflux is a reliable diagnosis according to your symptoms if they excluded heart issues by examinations.
