Hello -- My Husband Just Turned 53 And I Am
Question: Hello -- My husband just turned 53 and I am attaching a copy of bloodwork which he just had completed, part of which was the PSA testing, which was out of range. Also attached are his prior results from 10/15/18 and 3/17/17, in which the PSA values were also out of range. Can you please review thesame and let me know if these values are concerning and if any further workups are recommended? Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts and blood reports of your husband tat you have posted his successive PSA values over a period of one year are well within normal range of physiological values .
If he does not have any any urinary voiding symptoms like frequency ,urgency, nocturia etc he does not need to undergo further tests at present .
You may monitor PSA levels at 6 months interval and consult qualified Urologist if it total raises above 4.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Oh Dr. XXXXXXX ...thank you so much! As a follow up question, I see that his total PSA increased from 2.6 back in October of 2018 to 3.3 currently. Is that .7 increase over fifteen months anything to be concerned about?
