Make sure you don't have any infection in the tonsils and back of the throat. Get your voice box also checked by endoscopy. And make sure you don't have any swelling in the neck. To clarify, I mean a sore throat. My glands are swollen on one side, which is creating discomfort when swallowing. I am just looking to see if Claratin-D could help reduce the discomfort from the sore throat assuming its cause is a common cold or the flu.
