Hello- I Suspect That On 1/3/2020 My Husband Cheated. Approx
Question: Hello-
I suspect that on 1/3/2020 my husband cheated. Approx 3 weeks later I developed a painful cyst in the entrance of my vagina. It was leaking pus. The doctor at urgent care told me it was a Bartholin cyst and gave me an antibiotic. It cleared up. Since then to present day I have had approx 3 or 4 more in the exact same location. All leaked pus. I have always had chronic UTIs, however, the past 7 months or so I have been getting them WAY more often. Also, my urine has a distinct order to it and I have more discharge from my vagina than prior to when all this happened. I am going to make an appt tomorrow with my gyno. But I wanted to prepare myself. Am I looking at a potential STD? I have lower back pain, ab pain and cramps. My periods have been very heavy and painful. I have a cyst right now and it is painful with my movement. I never had this cysts prior to mid XXXXXXX of 2020. Thank you for your help in advance.

I do not know if this is related but I have been suffering from SEVERE constipation since Aug 2020. I have had every possible test including a colonoscopy. My GI doc cannot find a cause
Brief Answer:
Need ultrasound scan and Urine test
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) I dont think these episodes are related to STD.
2) These are just Bartholin cysts which are unrelated to STD.
3) Urinary tract infection (UTI) is related to the symptoms of pain and cramps.
4) Get urine culture and sensitivity test done to know the organism causing infection and the antibiotic suitable for infection.
5) Heavy menstruation may be related to some problem in uterus (womb) . Request for an ultrasound scan to identify the problem.
6) Large fibroids in uterus can also cause heavy periods and constipation. Ultrasound can diagnose it.
7) I dont think this could be STD.
8) Cyst needs to be examined to know if its Bartholin's cyst.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

I have already had a pelvic ultrasound last year. My concern is why am I getting these cysts when I never had them before? And again I am on like my 4 or 5th cyst in one year
If my husband did have sex outside our marriage- how long would it be before I would show symptoms if I contracted it and was symptomatic?
Brief Answer:
STD symptoms can be seen within a month
Detailed Answer:
