Hello, 32 Years Old. Male. 180 Lbs. My Symptoms For

Question: Hello,
32 years old. Male. 180 lbs.
My symptoms for the last 8-10 days have been intermittent abdominal cramp/pain on the left and right hand side of my mid section. I had bright red blood while I went to the bathroom about 8 days ago and it has only happened once and since then there has been no blood. My stool has been moving normally and no blood or discoloration. I have a normal appetite. I went to the doctor yesterday and had blood work ran. The numbers all look normal (no sure though). I also have a colonoscopy scheduled in the coming month.
My question is, with those symptoms and nothing really showing up on blood work, what could it be? My obvious concern is colon cancer but is there anything it could be or likely it could be?

Brief Answer:
Blood report is fine
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Your blood report is fine. Even though symptoms raise flag for possible colon cancer and colonoscopy should be done, possibility of colon cancer is low with Hb of 14.8.
It can be colitis as well, which should respond to antibiotics
But yes, colonoscopy should be definitely be done.
Hope this helps.
Regards
