Question: Hello,
7months back I first started with heavy bleeding more that 8days and in Nov diagonesed with a 3cm submucosal fibroid.
Doctor prescribed me Trapic E .In Dec and XXXXXXX when it was very heavy then doctor prescribed me with Deviry 10 for two times until the operation hysterectomy myomectomy.
The surgery was on 17th Feb under full anaesthesia and the fluid went in my abdomen during the procedure. But doctor extracted all the fluids and removed the complete fibroid.
After the surgery my haemoglobin level was lowered and it was 6.7.
After coming home I was just trying to increase my haemoglobin level. I was given tablet Savista 60mg twice in a week.
But on 25th Feb night suddenly very high bleeding started which resulted a very low haemoglobin and I fainted and admitted to hospital again. Doctor stopped the bleeding with pause mf ,and with all other medicine and did the blood transfusion.
Now the he level is 8and I am better.
Doctor prescribed me deviry 10 3times a day for 15days and savista 60 twice in a week for the 3months.but doctor told me that if after stopping deviry again the second period comes with this heavy flow then she has to remove my uterus.

What is your opinion on this??
Is there any side effects of deviry and savista??
If the fibroid was so small then why my uterus is not healing till now?

Brief Answer:
Your doctor opinion is right.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
In my opinion heavy bleeding in your case due to DUB( dysfunctional uterine bleeding which could be hormonal) or due to low haemoglobin means anaemia.
So we can supplements you with some iron and vitamin b12 to improve your haemoglobin.
As such you are taking right medicine for your symptoms and they are not having much side effects but it may take 2-3 cycles to control bleeding.
So continue taking these medicines.
Uterus may take time to heal after surgery or maybe you are having other fibroid also.
You can go for minera IUD insertion to control bleeding.
If persistent bleeding than further investigations ( like MRI pelvic)required before going for hysterectomy.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
Regards
