Hello Doctor, At Present I'm Taking The Following Medications: Amaryl
Question: Hello Doctor,
At present I'm taking the following medications:
Amaryl 2mg 1-0-1
Tenlimac 20mg 1-0-0
Shelcal 500, Tricium HD, Becosules after breakfast, Rozavel 10mg and Ativan 2mg.
I submit my day chart (fasting, post breakfast, post lunch and post dinner) every week online. Even after putting several restrictions on my diet my morning fasting levels and post breakfast levels are always high (They range from 129 to 169) rest of the levels are fine. After consultation with our doctors dietician about food there is no improvement at all. Since the last 2 days I have started taking Karela juice 50-100 ml on empty stomach in the morning. Having pain in my right leg also. What should I do to get my fasting and post breakfast levels in control.

Brief Answer:
Additional antidiabetic medication is required
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your attached query in detail
Elevated blood sugar levels in your case are related to inadequate dosage of antidiabetic medication.
It's advisable to add another antidiabetic medication like Metformin to bring the blood sugar levels to normalcy.
Fasting blood sugar levels should be checked 10 to 12 hours of overnight fasting. Postprandial blood sugar levels to be checked 2 hours after the breakfast.
