Hello Doctor, I Am Having Redness In My Eyes Which
Question: Hello Doctor,
I am having redness in my Eyes which is more on the Right Eye (Left side in the Photo attached). The redness increases if I watch the Laptop Screen and also when the Air Conditioning is ON.
Last Year I had two red triangular Patches in the right Eye, which became OK after 4 to 5 days without any treatment. This may have been triggered by some dust going into the Eye but not sure.
Please let me know I I need any treatment and also the reason for the redness. My work involves seeing the computer screen for longer periods of time and also I work in a Plastics Factory with a fair amount of ambient dust.

Hey thanks for your question. It could be because of dryness of eye which happens when we sit on laptop screen for a long time or in air conditioned environment. I would advise you to use Carboxymethylcellulose eye drops which are artificial tears actually . When we sit on laptop screen for a long time we dont blink much so our eye becomes dry as tears can spread all over the eye so I advise you that beside the drops you take frequent breaks while doing your work where you blink and look at something at a distance .
