Question: Hello Doctor, I am writing to you to discuss about my current health condition, if you could please read it carefully and let me know, it would be great.  I am 38 Male of XXXXXXX origin XXXXXXX 2016  My Blood Pressure was 130/90 and my doctor in XXXXXXX put me on prolomet 12.5mg After a few months, I started feeling dizzy and my doctor here in Australia after checking my BP askmed me to stop it.  April 2016 - XXXXXXX 2017  I started getting anxiety attacks and I got checked up at the Hospital and I was told about it.  It stopped by iteself - no medication taken XXXXXXX 2019 Had an Important exam and a week prior to the exam started having same syptoms of anxiety.  Have a lot of stress at work and my Acid Reflux is severe as well. I feel pounding of heart.  I have a BP machine at home and it shows 130/85 around that mark. I have checked with the local GP and they think it is all anxiety related.  I am a bit worried: 1. Anxiety attack 2. Could it be Blood Pressure related 3. Excessive burpring and bloating  4. My sleep has always been a problem  Is there anything that i should be doing  Kind Regards, XXXXXXX natarajan

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

After carefully going through the detailed medical history provided by you I can very well understand your concern for your health and well being and I would like to tell you that all these issues which you are experiencing are because of your high stress and anxiety levels.

Your blood pressure is not high it’s just towards the high normal side which can very well be due to high stress levels. You need to follow these

1. Make a healthy diet plan, avoid junk, take small and frequent meals instead of taking heavy meals.

2. Take a light diet for night and take it at least 2 hours before going to bed to avoid belching and burping.

3. Start going for daily morning walks for at least 35 mins daily for 5 days a week.

4. Try to make a sleep routine and go to bed at a fix time.

5. Start practising yoga meditation daily as that will really help you combat your anxiety and stress levels and will improve your overall health.

Hope to have been helpful.

Kind Regards
