Question: Hello Doctor,

I had been to an escort 1.5 months back and had a oral sex with out a condom and I ejaculated inside her mouth. But we dint had vaginal or anal sex, 1 week after the episode I had this swollen foreskin( painful retraction) and penis gland and foreskin was red and pain in my left testicle.. My urologist examined my penis and suggested me orni o tablet and candid cream... After 1 week it became alright and I stopped the medication( doc. Gave me 1 week medication) . It resurfaced again after 1 week of stopping medication and I restarted the medication for 1 week and stopped. Now I have burning sensation in penile even when I urinate and dull pain in left testicles and from yesterday my penis head and foreskin are wet most of the time.
Note : I don't have any leason on penis or discharge ( expect for wetness in Penis and foreskin) or any other body symptom...

I'm really worried... Is this a sign of any std or HIV please let me know.

Brief Answer:
The risk of getting HIV from unprotected oral sex is very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome to Ask a Specialist Service.

You had unprotected oral sex with an escort without vaginal or anal sex then the risk of getting HIV is less likely because oral sex carries less risk of transmission. For your symptoms I suggest to consult surgeon for further course of action because I don't think these are the symptoms of any STD or HIV.

As more than 6 weeks has passed after the exposure I advice you to get tested for HIV with 4th generation Duos test which is considered highly reliable and conclusive to relieve your anxiety and stress. Just calm down, forget the episode and get back to me with test results. If any other query is there feel free to ask me again any time.

Thank You

Thank you doctor, but why is that I have burning when passing urine and also burning sensation in head of penis and also sometimes my penis pain when I touch it... And dull pain in testicles ( left side).

What might be the symptoms of STI and HIV.

Brief Answer:
Burning urine might be due to urinary tract infection.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

Burning or tingling sensation with slight pain might be due to urinary tract infection for which as I advised you can consult general surgeon to isolate the cause and further management. The symptoms of STDs include blisters, spots or lesions on the penis, discharge from the penis (clear, white or yellow), itching or irritation inside the penis, pain during sexual intercourse or ejaculation etc.

I don't think your symptoms are suggestive of STDs or HIV so you need not to worry too much. Again I suggest to get tested with 4th generation HIV Duos test for your mental satisfaction. The negative result will relieve your fear and anxiety related to HIV because the risk is very unlikely in your case.

Thank You
