Hello Doctor, I Have Anxiety And Sweating Problem. It Is

Question: Hello Doctor,

I have anxiety and sweating problem. It is on for certain time(Few days or months) and i feel good remaining times.

I am strongly suspecting i have food allergies like wheat and cow milk. From my past experience if i consume those my anxiety(Sweating) is worsening and some times i feel very weak in muscles, not able to concentrate.

I have visited Gaestroenterologist recently and he has ordered CRP test, and the result is negative. Does it mean i dont have inflammation and allergys?

Is there any way or test to know what are food allergies i have and what to avoid?

Brief Answer:
CRP does not say anything

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

A CRP cannot be used for anything in that regard. You can have blood tests for celiac disease. The gold standard is an EGD with mucosal biopsies to test for celiac disease, lactose intolerance, etc. Until you have an EGD, I suggest you keep a diary of the items that provoke your spells.

Hope this helps.
