Question: Hello Doctor, I used to be very fair, after this lockdown i moved to my hometown which is a heavy humidity area with high temparatures. In this 6 months i have tanned soo much, that my face looks very black when compared to my previous complextion. I need get rid of this XXXXXXX can you please suggest me some medication like creams or something. I am using a facewash twice a day which doesnt seems to be working. Mine is oily skin.

Thanks for the query. XXXXXXX is caused by ultraviolet rays in sunlight.
Sunscreen is the most important thing which will protect your face and prevent further tanning.
Your face is oily hence you need to apply a water based sunscreen. Suncros soft or suncote sunscreen should be ideal for you.
To treat the tanning which has already happened, you can use a skin lightening cream like kojivit, daily in night.
Use both the creams for 3 months and after that you can stop kojivit and continue with sunscreen as a regular cream.
