Hello Doctor I Went To A KTV Club Where In

Question: Hello Doctor
I went to a KTV club where in I had an engagement with a lady. There was no insertive or oral sex. The engagement was limited to foreplay where in there was mutual sucking of breasts and light kisses. Finally the lady gave me a handjob and i came into her hands. She cleaned me with tissue paper.
Given the engagement I wanted to check the risk of STI/ HIV. I have checked with a local GP here where I am based and he said it is not required but wanted to get your confirmation

Brief Answer:
You are not at risk of HIV or any other STI.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome to Ask a Specialist Service.

Handjob, kissing (light or deep), sucking of breasts or breast massage, playing with genitals are no risk activities for HIV and you were not involved in any penetrative sex so you need not to worry at all because you are absolutely safe and risk free from HIV or any other STI. Calm down, allay the fear or anxiety and live your life normally and no testing is required in your case. If still you want to ask any thing else feel free to write to me again any time.

Thank You

Thank You Sir,
With due respect to the lady, she would engage with other customers who visit the place in the same way as mine. Is there any possibility that when she gave me a handjob assuming she had not washed her hands properly that could be a risk factor for me.
In your experience with handling so many cases and patients, is there any possibilities that infection can occur outside of the host body. I am very much disturbed and am trying to stay away from my near and dear ones.

Brief Answer:
No the risk is not there in your exposure.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

The survival of HIV virus outside the human body in an open environment is very difficult and it will become inactive so you need not to worry because the risk of getting the infection in your exposure is not there. Calm down, forget the episode and move on in life happily.

Thank You

Dear Doctor
Thank You for the note. May I please acknowledge the great work you are doing. You are helping people like me to calm down by giving detailed responses. May God give you all the blessings.

Permit me to ask one final query before I close the thread. If by any chance, the lady has a cut or an injury just before she gave me handjob and it was bleeding a little, will it pose any risk for me. I can understand if it is a major injury she would not have been able to perform the act. I am concerned of the minor cuts or bruises which would have gone unnoticed.

Once again thank you and god bless for the great work you are doing with this platform.

Brief Answer:
The risk is very less as the status of the lady is unknown.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

The risk persists if the infected blood comes in direct contact with your broken skin but the status of the lady is unknown which carries very less risk even if she has cut or an injury so don't get worried, forget the episode and move on in life happily.

Thank You

Thank You Sir
I did not have any sores or cuts on my penis. My only worry was through urethra.

I assume that my interaction was not an issue and I can put this behind my back and move on.

Thank You for the support and I wish you well .God Bless and thank you

Brief Answer:
You are most welcome.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

The transmission through the urethra is also very unlikely. So, as you rightly said, put this incidence behind and move on.

You are most welcome at any time if you need any help from my side. Wishing you a very happy and healthy life ahead.

Thank You
