Brief Answer:
plenty of fluids and alkalization ...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the details posted with diligence. In my opinion, it is not right to use antibiotics for all and every symptoms of fever. Often infections including urinary tract infection resolve spontaneously. Therefore I will recommend the use of urine alkalizer like Alkasol. She can continue to take paracetamol or other pain medications for pain relief. In addition, encourage her to drink plenty of fluids and practice good personal hygiene.

If the pain while urination and fever persist beyond a couple of days, she needs to get a urine test - urine routine and culture along with a complete hemogram before considering antibiotic therapy.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarification.

Brief Answer:
L-cin is one a day medications...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

L-cin is usually prescribed as once a day medication given for 5 days. The duration is extended in some cases. In the current context without the test report, I would not know for how long it should be taken. But since she is feeling better, in my opinion, it would be better to stop it. Drink plenty of fluids. She can continue using alkasol and maintain good hygiene.

If the problem doesn't improve or if she develops a fever, she should get the aforementioned urine test before starting antibiotics.

Regards
