Brief Answer:
Symptoms are suggestive of nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted your mother's clinical details. The symptoms are suggestive of compression of nerves in the neck and back. X-ray shows spondylitis, however, further details can not be seen on X-ray.

MRI of cervical and lumbar spine should be done for final diagnosis.

As of now, she can start medicines such as gabapentin capsules for relief from nerve pain. Physiotherapy for neck and back would also help.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
