Hello Doctor, Recently Due To Depression And Anxiety I Have
Question: Hello Doctor,
Recently due to depression and anxiety I have consulted with an psychiatric he prescribed me Mitrip 15 and Citicop P once at night. After taking the medicines for some days I found some hangover next day.So I reduced the dose to Mitrip 7.5 mg at night and Citicop P, however, it didn't worked well for my depression.
Later on I consulted with another Doctor and I was prescribed Desvenlafaxine 50 (Extended Release) at afternoon along with etilozam 0.5 mg at night and 0.25 mg at morning. I have started taking those medicines recently and didn't found any change in mood.
Can I take Desvenlafaxine 50 at afternoon and Mitrip 15 or 7.5 at night instead of etizolam 0.50 mg. Also whether Citicop P may be taken with the desvenlafaxine 50.
For elevated liver enzyme and biliburin I am taking Heptral 400 (as I used to drink), whetehr Heptral 400 is required for this as this is very expensive. Also my TSH is bit high whether medications were required for thyroid.
Some Report were attached.

I have gone through your question, I understand your concern.
No, psychiatrist prescribed you medication after talking with you. And i think first psychiatrist was better, go with his prescription.
Hangover will go away after 15 days, so do not worry about hangover.
Heptral is unnecessary drug, stop it.
Just avoid alcohol, your liver will be normal in 6 months.
For thyroid problem, get anti tpo test done, them i can advice you, wether you need treatment or not.
I hope your query is clear now.

Thanks for your feedback.
As per your suggestion Desvenlafaxine 50 mg and Mitrip 15 mg cannot be taken simultaneously.
Also sir after taking Desvenlafaxine 50 mg I am finding myself active at the same time insomnia type symptoms have started. Whether it is the side effect of the medicine.

Sorry to disturb u again. The medicine which I mentioned as Mitrip 15 was ignorantly written.
It was Mirnite 15 (mirtazapine 15).
I would like to know whether Mirtazapine 15 and Desvenlafaxine 50 can be taken together.
Also I will revert back to u after getting anti tpo test done.
