Question: Hello Dr Agastya 22 months old fell down from the sofa and bumped his head , it is swollen visibly. He cried a lot. I heard noise when he bumped the floor, it was quite loud. I am worried. What should I do Dr.

Just apply ice over there every 8 hourly for next 48 hours. Give her Paracetamol suspension for any pain. Some swelling or erythema/bluishness may persist there for few days. Nothing to worry.
Observe her for next 24 hours for any symptoms suggestive of head injury: unusual sleepiness/drowsiness, recurrent vomiting, incessant cry or seizure like movements. Just mentioned to be aware of, although I do not expect them to happen.
