Detailed Answer:
Hello there,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...

Well, if this is could be due to some muscular sprain around that region...

For symptomatic relief, take complete rest...avoid twisting/bending the back, sit in an upright posture and, refrain from holding the kid up as well...

Take a mild painkiller like Tab Paracetamol 650mg after some food twice daily for some symptomatic relief...apply some hot-cold compression over the area and use an analgesic spray (e.g. Volini spray twice daily) for the time being...

However, if the pain doesn't subside despite this, a thorough clinical examination by an Orthopedics along with some relevant investigations (Chest and Upper-mid spinal X-ray, ECG, Metabolic profile assessment) may also be needed thereafter...

Take Care
Kind Regards

Welcome back,

Yes, if the pain doesn't subside despite taking the medicines and following this basic advice, a thorough clinical examination by an Orthopedics is recommended (as already explained earlier) along with some relevant investigations (Chest and Upper-mid spinal X-ray, ECG, Metabolic profile assessment) thereafter...
