Brief Answer:
Regarding psoriasis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Psoriasis is a chronic immune mediated skin disease characterised by bright red, well defined, scaly patches which may be distributed at various body sites like scalp, elbow, shin, knee, ankle etc. For a limited disease like a single or a few psoriasis patches, potent topical steroid ointment with or without salicylic acid is the treatment of choice. Therefore I suggest you to use clobetasol propionate 0.05% along with 3-6% salicylic acid in an ointment base e.g Dipsalic-F ointment or Halovate-S ointment, twice daily for 2 weeks. In addition I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10mg tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching. Psoriasis may relapse after a seemingly complete cure. Various triggering factors like streptococcal throat infection, trauma, stress, alcohol, winter season, pregnancy etc have been identified.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance
