Question: Hello Dr.

I want to interpret my blood test results which were conducted in the US. I was adviced to get Hepatatis B vaccinated which I already started with a 0-1-6 schedule.

However, wanted to understand if there is something that I need to be worried about Hepatitis A as that has come out as reactive. Please refer the attachments

Yes, as per your reports, you seem to be having an ongoing Hepatitis A infection. Since there are no vaccination available post infection, I would suggest you to wait, eat healthy and get repeated liver function tests done to check if the infection is resolving.

For now, your liver function tests seem to be normal apart from a slightly elevated total bilirubin. You can follow up with your doctor for a repeated liver function test to discuss upon the immunity response.

In addition, your lipid profile which is a little deranged, does require some lifestyle modifications.
- Engage in a daily 30 mins of brisk walking.
- Eat healthy and fiber rich food.
- Avoid any oily or fast foods.- Always make sure to drink treated and boiled water.
