Question: Hello Dr, My elder son who is 22 months old hurt my younger daughter ,4 months old , by poking her eyes with his finger. It was pretty hard , as this happened in my absence I am afraid of the intensity and I would want to know if this will be a serious problem. Should I take her to an eye doctor or should I do some tests at home to check if her vision is good.

Brief Answer:
Visit Ophthalmologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome To Ask A Doctor Service
I have gone through your question, I understand your concern.
As finger can cause serious injury to eyes and small baby of 4 months can not explain about visual disturbance, you should immediately visit Ophthalmologist.
I hope your query is clear now.
Thanks and regards
