Question: Hello Dr. XXXXXXX these are my results:



• Normal results

o URINE IMMUNOFIXATION

o METHYLMALONIC ACID

o VITAMIN B9 (FOLIC ACID)

o HEMOGLOBIN EVALUATION

o SERUM PROTEIN ELECTROPHORESIS



• Abnormal results

RBC, AUTO 4.56 Mill/mcL 4.70 - 6.10 Mill/mcL

HGB 13.6 g/dL 14.0 - 18.0 g/dL

HCT, AUTO 41.2 % 42.0 - 52.0 %



• SERUM FREE KAPPA AND LAMBDA LIGHT IMMUNOGLOBULIN CHAINS. 0.19

These are normal

Thanks for following up.

I would consider these results normal for any of my patients. Nothing to worry. Hemoglobin slightly low. May be just a normal variation.

Kappa/lambda ratio slightly low but no issues if the absolute values are normal.

I would just do another blood count after 3 months to see the trend.
