Hello, Had Another Dipstick UAL Showing 3+. What Would That
Question: Hello,
Had another dipstick UAL showing 3+. What would that likely reflect in rbc's numerically.? I have had 2 biomarker tests with different results. Would the UAC be the best indicator of validity and therefor be a better test if testing for the same(csPC)? I'm referring to select mdx and 4k. I know there haven't been any comparative studies but they have different AUC's and 4k has significantly more patient numbers while MDX had a higher AUC. Thanks for all you do. XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
I would rely on highest AUC
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
It is not possible to directly extrapolate how many rbc's 3+ would indicate. When it comes to diagnostic testing I would usually rely on the test with highest AUC. Specifically in your case, what's interesting is your symptoms and why you were tested for blood in your urine? If all the tests you had were positive for blood, I would not spend too much time considering differences in diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.
Looking forward to hearing from you again.
