I think for the time being lets get her started on vitamin D supplement, 60,000 unit once a week.
this will help her with the Pth levels and back pains also.
let her increase intake of calcium in her diet, with milk/curd.
I think she should feel better, as this issue gets resolved.
In the mean while exercises for strengthening the back,hot fomentation for pain, local application of pain gels/and sos pain medication like ultracet may be taken.
In case medication like pregabalin suits her she can take pregabalin 75 mg once at night 2 hours before sleep.
I hope these measures help her.

hi vitamin d should be taken for atleast 8 weeks , once a week, subsequently a maintenance dose of once in a month should be taken.
