Question: Hello. I am 19 years old.
A week ago, I got hit by a ball in my scrotum. Next morning, There was still pain in my right testicular and I went to a doctor. He did an ultrasound and said that there is a lump, "edema" in right testis. The report said that
- both testes are of normal size,
-Spermatic cords appear normal on left sides
-Visualised vessels are normal in calibre and flow pattern
- no free fluid or hydrocele seen.
-No e/o any focal lesion or altered area seen.
- Mild Reactive Scrotal edema on right side
Some pain has been reduced but it hasn't been fully cured. Also, now It seems that my semen is more watery and less dense. It seems to me that there are some anomalies in my right testis. It was lying straight horizontal and not vertical as the left one. I am a little scared and want to know if there is any chance that it could improve? Should I visit a doctor straight away?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about it at all.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts and report of Ultrasound Scanning Of Scrotum that you have posted the discomfort and pain that you have in Rt testicle is due to swelling (Edema) of the Rt testicle caused by trauma over scrotum .

It is a common phenomenon to get edema after the trauma which subsides within few days say a week .

The watery semen has not any relation with this incidence and the position of Testicle in scrotal sac is concerned, Testis is freely XXXXXXX in scrotal sac and makes no difference as far as consistency of Semen is concerned .

Take anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for ra week .
It will resolve all the issues .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply
Also, when my scrotal is tight, left testis hangs lower than left. But , when scrotal loosens, right testis hangs lower than left (about 1cm). When I apply pressure from stomach ,right testis goes up and then back down again. Are these things normal?
