I am 27, 5%E2%80%9910%E2%80%9D, 350lbs.
Aside from the weight i am very active and otherwise active.
Approximately 7 days ago i was kneeling down and hurt my knee. I proceeded to roll on to my but to escape the kbee pain. In doing so my head was actually pushed really far over by the vehicle in front of me (slowly) not an fast or hard impact.
I heard felt about 4 pops similar to being adjusted by a chiropractor.
There was no instant pain at all. However a 4 of 10 pain level developed over 48 hours. I went to the er and recieved a ct scan. They discharged me with a sprained neck.
here we are 4 days later and i seem to have thd same level of pain. and most importantantly whdn i turn my head or change the angle if my neck i feel a sense of pressure and dizzyness that subsides when i straighten my neck. Also when j am seated upright the pain in my neck is worse than whfn j am laying down.
are these normal sprain symptoms?

Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
These are the common symptoms of neck sprain and head concussion.
You can feel dizziness, nausea, neck pain(that worsens with movement),neck spasm, headache, vertigo or ringing in ears-any of these symptoms.
As your brain scan is normal,an internal brain injury has been ruled out.
These symptoms will slowly wean off.
You can hasten the recovery by application of ice and heat alternatively, doing gentle movements only, avoiding excess jerking and taking over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, paracetamol or acetaminophen.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Sprained neck.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
Arm cramping, numbness, pain and coldness is due to irritation of nerve roots that branch away from the cervical spinal cord.
This may travels down the arm into the hand.
It would soon go away.Take commercially available preparations of vitamin B12 for enhanced nerve repair (myein sheath, coating the nerves).
Regards.
