Hello. I Am A 47 Year Old Female. Have Had

Question: Hello.
I am a 47 year old female. Have had 2 children (1st @ 38, 2nd @ 41- both c-sections, and had tubes tied at birth of 2nd child).
I had Mirena put it 9/2016 due to very heavy periods. These started after birth of 2nd child. They were fairly normal before.
I had a yearly physical 9/17/19 and discussed issues of low libido and bad acne with my Doctor. She said Mirena could likely be the cause, so we decided to remove it right then.
Started bleeding the afternoon of 9/17 and was similar to a normal to light period. Have continued to bleed normally since then- 6 days. This morning, 9/24, I woke up to extremely heavy bleeding, passing clots, and having to change a super tampon every 30-40 mins.
(This is what was happening before Mirena, which is why it was put it).
Just curious if this is normal, should be a concern, or any suggestions as to what I need to/can do.
Thanks!!

Brief Answer:
Need pelvis scan and hormonal analysis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
I can understand your situation.
mirena was introduced for heavy bleeding because of hormonal issues. It was fine after insertion.
sudden removal could have caused a withdrawal though very rare incident.
In view of age and profuse bleeding you defenetly need a gyneac check up with scan at the earliest. You may need progesterone hormonal tablets to stop bleeding now.
After scan and may be an endometrial sampling , mirena may be used again if everything is normal,
