Brief Answer:
It could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by perimenopause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

As you are having a period two times in a month and having weight gain at your age could be starting of your perimenopausal stage.

You can go for a pelvic ultrasound to rule out the other causes of your symptoms like polyphonic, Fibroid, etc.

Hope you found this useful, feel free to ask for more information.

Good luck
Regards
