Hi and Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service. I have read your question and here is my advice.
The symptoms suggest you might have some stomach problem. This may be related to peptic ulcer disease, H pylori infection, or gall bladder problems (specially gall stones). Some time infection like chronic giardiasis, or amoebiasis may also cause such symptoms. Many times the problem is not serious one, and can be managed routinely but some time we may need to do more tests like stool tests, or endoscopy.
If your problem is not for long times, and there is no alarm symptoms (like blood in stool, difficulty in swallowing, weight loss etc) I would suggest you should use some antacids like gaviscon 3 times and lansoprazole once a day before breakfast for 2 weeks.
However if the problem has been a chronic one, not helped by antacids, then I think it's important to see a gastroenteralogist and do few tests. These may include
Ultrasound scan, H. Pylori tests, stool tests for any infection specially like Giardia, or amoeba and routine blood tests. He may also assess if you need an endoscopy to see your stomach. (not always needed).
Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions or concerns.
Kind Regards Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman
