Question: Hello, I am a 74 year old male who had a total prostatectomy in September of 2005. I believe the Gleeson scale was 7 and the cancer an aggressive type. The surgery was performed by one of the leading urologists in NYC using a DaVinci robotic machine.
Since the surgery, my PSA was always less than .01. In May of 2018, which was 12 years and 8 months since my surgery, my PSA was less than .02 I repeated the test in January of 2019 and it was .02 Last week I repeated the test again and it was less than 0.1. Does this indicate my cancer has returned, or is this nothing to be concerned with. Thank you.
