I am 24 years old. I have been taking the contraceptives for a little over a year. There is no redness and there is a little bit of pain when I walk and it hurts a little when resting. My back is hurting a little bit as well. It just feels like a normal cramp to me but I figured getting a second opinion wouldn't hurt.
Brief Answer:
As discussed in details below.
Detailed Answer:
Surely yes.
Thanks for your feedback.
From the history this looks to be a cramp or less possibility of some nerve compression in back giving pain in left calf.
But since you are taking birth control pills DVT should be ruled out by ultrasonography and color doppler examination.
The reports will decide whether you can continue the pills or not.
Take plenty of fluids, avoid dehydration.
Take an anti-inflammatory medication with pain killer properties.
I hope this answer helps you.
