Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com
I'm Dr. Ajay Panwar, a neurologist, here to answer your query.
I've seen your CTA reports which showed that external arteries are patient with no irregularities and enhancement. Making a temporal artery prominent doesn't make it temporal arteries when other imaging features are not supportive. Choroidal plexus lesion you mentioned may not be the cause of headache as well.
I would like to know a few more details-
1) What is the site of your headache? Is it in the temporal region?
2) Is it throbbing or pulsatile in nature?
3) Do you have fever, jaw pain, fatigue?
4) Any vision abnormality?
5) Do you have nausea with headache?
6) Does your headache worsens with exposure to light or sound?
Please follow up with details so that I can answer this well further.

Dr.Ajay Panwar,

Thank you for getting back to me. I can't thank you enough!
My headache is ALWAYS in the temple, never changes, on the left side. It throbs, pulsates, it's like an ice pick sometimes. When it happens, I literally pull on my hair, therefore my hair is so thin in that temple area. My eye prescription has definitely changed. I keep having to get new contacts. My headache never worsens with light or sound. I get nauseous, sometimes when the pain intensifies.
This pain is everyday. I am SO scared because no one seems to know what is causing it. I have had infusions (week long stays, out patient, etc.) You name it, I have had it or tried EVERY medicine. I literally can't take the pain. It's EVERY DAY and I am a teacher. I just cry because nothing works. It's been hard.
Thank you again, XXXXXXX

I am so sorry again....what is a choroidal plexus lesion? Why do I have one?
I am just trying to find out everything. It's frustrating that my life if like this, and no one knows what's causing these god-forsaking headaches in my temple. I'm sorry.

ESR?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow up.
The kind of history you are giving for headache may point towards temporal arteries, however, the imaging features have not supported. Has ESR been done? what's the value?
For choroid plexus lesion, You should not worry that much as it's been reported as a benign thing.

Brief Answer:
Get ESR and CRP levels
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
In that case, please get ESR and CRP levels done. Also, you can take non steroidal anti inflammatory medicines on sos ( when in pain) basis to relieve pain like naproxen for now. In case of temporal arteritis, ESR and CRP will usually be elevated.
Hope that helps. If you have any further queries, I shall be glad to answer them.
