Brief Answer:
You need 6-8weeks to fully recover from it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

It is normal to be in pain after such a large and wide operation. You can continue to take painkillers that doctor will inject you in this three days that you will stay in hospital. Possibly they will inject you Tramadol.
You can continue advil at home or other painkillers prescribed by your doctor.
You may stay in hospital three days and may continue to recover gradually at home for 6-8 weeks. In this time you will get to your normal every day activities very slowly. You will not lift weights for 8 weeks. Will have brief walks without feeling too tired.
If they removed an ovary you have the hormone supply from the other ovary so you will have an almost normal hormone balance.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
