Hello-I Had An Infected Sebaceous Cyst Completely Drained Two Weeks
Question: Hello-I had an infected sebaceous cyst completely drained two weeks ago. The packing was removed two days later. I have an open hole the size of a quarter that is slowly healing. How long does it take to close? Thanks for your time.

In your case,it may take 2 to 3 weeks for complete healing.
In some patients,the swelling recurrs.Then, you better go for complete excision along with Cyst wall.Incision and Drainage is done only for infected Sebaceous cyst.
