Hello I Have A Question I Have A House Member

Question: Hello I have a question I have a house member at home who will be under chemotheraphy tomorrow. So wanted to ask that there are also small children in the house. Is there any precaution that should be taken? Like should we keep the children isolated from the patient? Any chance of chemo medicine being transferred? Like what if she vomits or anything what should be done in regards to children
Brief Answer:
Chemotherapy
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking
There is little risk including children or babies because there’s aren’t like to come in contact with any Chemotherapy drugs or fluids body.
However they are some safety precautions like
1-Vomiting in plastic bowel
2-Clean up spills
3-Wash clothing separately
4-During the week after treatment war disposable waterproof gloves when bedsheets soiled with vomit or other fluids
Regards
