Brief Answer:
It could just be due to hot weather

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Such a single symptoms of increased body temperature could just be due to hot weather and dehydration. She may be stepping out in hot weather.

Since your mother is an essential worker, she is high risk for COVID-19. Therefore she should self-isolate for 15 days in her room and observe symptoms. Meanwhile take all precautions to avoid contact with other family members.
Also drink more of fluids, keep room temperature at lower level, slowly sipping hot tea boiled with ginger, turmeric, black peper, saunf is recommended.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
