Hello, I Have A Sore Throat For The Past 16

Question: Hello,
I have a sore throat for the past 16 days. The first week I also had really bad diarrhea, headaches, and I felt nauseous. Week 2 this got better, but I still felt a sore throat and lots of mucus in my throat. The past 4 days I also noticed I get very mild fever in the afternoon and night. Yesterday I went to the doctor and she told me she's not sure what it is, but my CRP was 33. She took a throat and nose culture and prescribed Zinnat antibiotics- the results from the throat and nose culture are not in yet. Should I take them or try to see specialists?
