Question: Hello! I have an indentation on my left side of face, back of the cheek area up to under my left eye area? My primary doctor did not know what this is. It has gotten more pronounced/redder today. What type of doctor should I see to find out what this is. I am 75 year old woman. Should I be concerned?

2 weeks ago, no weakness that I can tell. No pain, looks awful. I have GERD. No weakness, no difficulty chewing food. I sleep on my left side, which is necessitated by my Acid Reflux - GERD. No difficulty chewing or smiling. My doctor could not identify it, and just let me go back home. Need to know what type of doctor I could go to. I do have pains around my head, like little headache (which I don't hardly ever get headaches). Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Follow up with a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Since the symptoms have been persistent for almost 2 weeks, possible neuromuscular issues need to ruled out as the cause for your symptoms.
A detailed neurological evaluation followed by further investigations are needed at this point.
So please be advised to follow up with a neurologist.
