Hello, I Have Been Feeling Mild Tightness In My Left
I have been feeling mild tightness in my left arm on and off since Wednesday (October 16). This has been accompanied by muscle twitches in the back of my left arm just above my elbow and my hamstring just above my knee. Mild headaches have occurred. I have had a stressful and anxious couple of weeks as well due to a tetanus scare, and this has led to some facial tension in my cheeks, as well as an inability to stay asleep.
I have gone to a walk-in clinic yesterday to talk to a doctor, and he told me my blood pressure was normal, but every other test at home has shown my blood pressure to be in hypertension.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!
I understand your concern and would explain that all your symptoms are suggestive of anxiety or psychological stress.
Anyway before coming to this conclusion, I would recommend checking thyroid hormone levels, blood electrolytes for possible imbalances and performing a cervical spine X ray study, in order to exclude possible bulging disc in this region, which could lead to neck and shoulder tightness.
Regarding high blood pressure values, I would recommend you to closely monitor your body pressure values frequently during the day in the next week and take note of the values.
If your blood pressure values are persistently high (above 125/85mm Hg in the next days) , I would recommend performing further tests to investigate for the possible underlying causes.
In the meantime, I recommend reducing coffee intake and focus on your anxiety. Yoga can help in this regard.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing good health,
