Hello, I Have Been Getting A Headache For Sometime Now

I have been getting a headache for sometime now (1 month). I am 28 years old , never have had a headache. The pain i experience is not sever but not comfortable. My head feels heavy. sometimes the heaviness is in the front and sometimes at the back but most of the times its right above (middle) of the head. Sometime i experience slight feeling of wanting to throw up and a slight feeling lack of focusness and dizziness.
A couple of points for you to know
a) I have been through one of most stressful moments by fat 2 months back , i even had abdominal pain which currently is no longer present.
b) I used to excercies 4 days a week, stopped exercising for the past 2 months.
c) My nutrition too changed the past 2 months , been eating anything at anytime, sometimes i don't eat due to the stress
d) Sleeping too much and having hard time waking up to work, at night having a hard time to sleep.
Something feels odd, i have not experiencing anything severe however i am not comfortable and i am starting to fear that this might be causing my change of daily activities.
I decided to start exercise again as this might be a reason why this is happening but please advise what this might be.
At some points i face hypotension (also first time i get that) but then normal again now.
Xanax or Melatonin for some days before sleeping
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM
I can understand your concern
I read carefully the history you provide and I am sorry for your situation
It seems to me like a stress condition.
However in such situation we usually first recommend to our patients to start Xanax 5 mg once to reduce the rate of stress. We advise them to stop smoking no coffee no energy drinks and a good sleep. For sleeping you can also take Melatonin tablet once before going to bed only for some days.
If the above do not help you than we can recommend an head MRI which is a specific examination to exclude other causes of headache.
If it will come positive than your doctor will order to see a neurologist specialist if not than probably a psichiactrist may give you more specific help .
Nevertheless please first contact your doctor and he/she should examine you closely.
Hope to have been helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
This is a tension headache in medical terms
I recommend you to consult your doctor first for safety
MRI is a specific examination which examine the brain if there is any abnormal lesions in it just to be sure.
Nevertheless if your doctor doesn't recommend it do not worry it means that it is not necessary.
