Hello, I Have Been Having A Plethora Of Symptoms For

Question: Hello,
I have been having a plethora of symptoms for 3 weeks now, the main and most prominent symptom being heart palpitations. I am aware of my heart beat most of the day and can see it pulsing in my chest and stomach. I become short of breath and sweat with minimal physical activity. I experience intermittent chest tightness that is worse when laying down. My blood pressure has been elevated as well as my pulse. When the palpitations are bad my nails and finger tips begin to turn blue and my head will nod with my pulse. My EKG, blood work, chest X ray and chest CT are all normal. I do have a direct family member who passed away as an infant due to an aortic valve defect and aortic stenosis. One symptom I have that I can't find any information on is a strange gurggling under my right breast and intermittent warmth of the right side of my chest. The difference in temperature can be felt when I put my hands on both my breasts. I'd also like to note that I am not aware of any overwhelming feelings of anxiety or stress.

Brief Answer:
Go check your thyroid.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Taking count that the ecg, chest x-ray and chest ct are normal it doesn't seem related to heart or aortal issues nor to heaet valve issues .
If it was related to any heart issues it would have shown in ECG or ct of chest.
You may need to do an ecocadiography also, just to be sure.
I think you should get further evaluated doing an ultrasound of thyroid and thyroid hormones T3,T4 and TSH.
Hyperthyroidism may be the cause of heart palpitations ,chest tightness feeling and increased sweating.
The tips of finger becoming blue is not much related to it.
It can be related to exposure to cold weather probably.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you for your response. :)
My thyroid has already been checked and that is also negative.
My kidneys have also been check with a 24 urinalysis.
I did have a holter monitor EKG and have not received the results yet.
Is it possible to feel symptoms of an aortic valve defect before it has caused heart failure, heart enlargement or arrhythmia?

Do an ecocardiograme.

Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Of course you can feel aortal valve disease symptoms before it causes heart failure, heart enlargement or arrythmia.
