Hello, I Have Blood Coming Out Of The Stool Which
Question: Hello,
I have blood coming out of the stool which is not hard but soft so I was referred to visit Gastroenterology surgeon by my Gastroentologist, there the Surgeon had to a rectal exam to check my situation. Since I am back from the clinic I am seeing blood is coming out of my rectal area. I got scared so I called Doctor's office and they it is normal after the exam. In fact, they advised me to put a cloth in that area and sit on a hard floor.
Now they are closed, I am very scared, please let me know if this is something to worry about.
I look forward to hear from you.
Thanks & Regards,
Anupriya

Brief Answer:
No worry if the bleeding has stopped. Please give some more details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
There can be bleeding after per-rectal examination and ano-proctoscopy if there is any hemorrhoid that has opened up or fissure in-ano that has opened up.
This is unusual after a gentle examination.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
What was the diagnosis given by the Surgeon?
Any pain?
Is the bleeding still present? If yes, how much is the quantity?
When was the rectal examination done?
Any other information, please.
If possible, post the reports of investigations done.
Awaiting your feedback.
