Question: Hello, I have cervical MRI images, are you able to take a look at them and tell me if you see anything concerning in my neck and throat (front and back) or head? Brief Answer:
There is mild cervical spondylosis and is not a serious problem
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have reviewed the uploaded images and there is mild cervical spondylosis in the C3 to C6 vertebrae levels and is not a serior problem. There is no spinal canal stenosis. The cervical spinal cord is normal in the images.
I would like to see the complete images to know if there is any nerve root compression as the given images do not show the concerned areas.
Regards,

Hi, Dr. Chail:
Thank you for your response; I've uploaded additional images 12-25. I had back problems for many years, in recent years my neck has been causing pain; sometimes a pillow hurts a lot, sometimes it does not, sometimes no pillow feels better, sometimes it does not, a constant pinch going up the right side of neck is troublesome, and I'm getting headaches in the area right under my head, where the head and neck connect so to speak; in recent months I got a couple of cases of severe, debilitating vertigo, I did some neck movements and it did improve, yet ever since the last severe vertigo episode, I sometimes get mild vertigo when moving my neck. Can you please tell me your opinion regarding my discs, facet joints, and arthritis? Thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
There is mild arthritis. Please re upload after removing old images
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
Hope you are not having too much pain. The uploaded images are showing a mild degenerative change in the cervical spine.
There are mild degenerative changes in the vertebrae but the alignment is normal. There is no fracture or subluxation.
The atlantoaxial joint is normal and joint spaces betwen the atlas and axial on both sides is maintained.
There is mild arthritis of the cervical spine. I need the images to comment on the facet joints.
The disc heights are normal. However I need to see a T2 sagittal image to comment on changes or dehydration of the discs. Please send me the image if you have it.
I also need the axial images at the disc levels to see if any nerve pinching is there on the right and might be causing the symptoms mentioned.
There is mild arthritis of the cervical spine. I need the images to comment on the facet joints.
Vertigo is investigated by a MRI brain scan to know any problem areas in the brain and a vertebral and carotid artery Doppler to study blood flow to the brain.
I am not able to see all images 12 to 25. The webpage allows only 10 images to be uploaded at a time. Please remove old images and then add new images for me to review.
