Question: Hello,
I have developed a lump like swollen gland under the vagina opening since last two days..I am not sure if it is bartholins gland.It is not paining but there is itching in vagina.so may be it is yeast infection or Uti.
Can I take fluconazole and Norflox for the same..??

A lump like swollen gland on the vaginal wall can be a bartholin's gland.
If it is not paining then it is not yet infected. Avoid touching the area and try to keep the area clean. The itching ion the area is suggestive of a yeast infection. You can take fluconazole and insert clotrimazole pessary and see if it helps.
This is not related to a urinary infection. So norflox is not likely to help. Hot compress in the area can help in case the swelling is painful.

150 mg first dose and repeat the dose after 72 hours.

For vaginal yeast infection 150 mg of fluconazole is taken orally and then a second dose is taken after 72 hours.
