Hello, I Have Had 9 Weeks Of Literally Non-ending Headaches

Question: Hello, I have had 9 weeks of literally non-ending headaches with a majority being migraines. The pain will dull with Imitrex and/or exedrin but never resolve. I have had a head CT and a brain MRI done. Lesions are present. When I went to my new neurologist I was hospitalized for a DHE treatment for the migrains. They did not resolve and I found out the neurologist has not looked at the mri or ct at all. I also notice something about the size of a small grape in the forehead on the mri which no one will address with me.
Brief Answer:
Please send the MRI images if possible
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
I request you to send the MRI images/CT images if possible. In case that is not possible in proper way you can send me the MRI report/CT head report itself signed by radiologist to suggest next possible course of treatment.
I also request you to describe your headache in more detail so it can be conclusively established whether it is migraine or some other form of headache.
I look forward to assist you further.
Thanks again.

Some images have been uploaded. If different sequence layers are needed I can also upload those for you as well.
Headache is always in forehead area. Migraine, as I call it, is usually pain starting in/around one of my eyes and radiates up into the top and crown of my head. It throbbs and at times will intensify to EXTREME pain when standing and will reduce in pain when sitting back down or lying down.
I also have frequent pain around base of skull and into neck and shoulders.
Again, it NEVER goes away completely.

Brief Answer:
The MRI lesions are not related to migraine
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
I have seen all the attached brain scan images and the lesions appearing in the anterior part of brain have nothing to do with migraine. Both the visible lesions are probably calcification which can occur in many individuals without any obvious cause. The other possibility for MRI lesions is deep white matter hyperintensities which again can be present in most of us without any obvious cause.
The cause for not addressing your concerns about MRI lesions probably stems from the fact that two things are not related and managing constant headache became a priority for your clinician.
From the available description it appears to me that currently you are dealing with migraine in association with tension type headache as evidenced by pain in neck and shoulder which almost never occurs in a typical case of migraine.
I request you to discuss the same with your doctor as treatment of migraine alone, unlikely to result in complete relief.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
