Question: Hello
I have hydrocele in left testicle. Sonography report reveals 215 ml fluid is accumulated. What are the option for treatment and how soon it need to be taken. My serum creatine has also increased from 0.8 in 2018 to 0.9 in January 2019 and has recently increased to 1.1 in may 2019. Is there any relation with hydrocele. And what the increase is indicating.

Brief Answer:
Surgery is the only option to treat Hydrocele .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have Hydrocele on left side with sac containing 215 ml of fluid .As far as as treatment of hydrocele is concerned surgery is the only treatment option and should be done at earliest .as it goes on increasing .

As regards your creatinine levels which you think to be rising I would state that your creatinine levels (Below 1.2 mg )are well within normal limit .A marginal rise in creatinine is common and it varies according to protein intake in our diet.It has no relation with hydrocele .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

What are food restrictions to be maintained. If the hydrocele is left untreated what kind of threat or danger it will have.

Brief Answer:
No food restrictions

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up ..
If left untreated it will go on increasing in size and may undergo infection resulting into Pyocele and infection of testicle.

If it accidentally gets hurt may cause bleeding inside leading to serious complication and endanger life .
