Hello, I Have Just Finished A Series Of Allergy Test
Question: Hello, I have just finished a series of allergy test over the last four weeks. Have been tested for trees, weeds, grasses, epidermal, other (dust mite dp, df), molds, and yeast (candida) positive also. Have been taking shot therapy for 8 years with goods results. This last testing reveals I am allergic to 97 percent of the above. Have been having a battle with clear excessive mucus drainage. Clogs up my throat and upper respiratory, I sleep about three hrs. Wake up and then after I drink a half gallon of filtered water spit it up. My viles won't be ready till next Thursday. I also have have two sinus surgeries in the last twelve years. My Dr. Is an ENT and plastic surgeon, very experienced, he takes shots also. I could write a small paper on what I have done in my house, UV light in return air, dual high quality pleated filters changed regular, a heavy duty hepa air filter with a Dylos particle count machine that measures air quality. My air quality usually runs in the single digits to under 100 normally. Will starting my shots again soon, they make up the viles in the Doctor office. The shots do work, just asking for advice if I missing something. I am 65 yrs. Male, I have no other health problems other than the sinus drainage. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM
I am sorry for your situation
As you explain the history i think you are doing all that you can to avoid the triggers in your home.
However in the periods of reactivisation of the alergy i would recommend you to use steroids too.Topic and probably inhalers depending on your situation. We recommend them for 2-3 months usually. They will help a lot .First discussion with your doctor.
Hope to have been helpful
