I have recently had health checkup , I had a few health concerns.
My PMS is regular but it doesn't last more than 2 days.
Also , I have gained ~4 kgs in 2-3 months of time .Would like to have a follow up on this.
Please elaborate and upload relevant reports.

1. Your previous menstrual history, how many days did the flow lasted, how frequently you had the cycles and how was the blood flow, profuse/average etc.
2. Any history of infection, any medication, any change in lifestyle, use of hormones etc.
3. If you are married and if so, whether you are planning a pregnancy
4. For how long have you noticed lessened flow during cycles, is there any intermenstrual bleeding/spotting.

< Cycles are regular , but the flow lasts for 2 days at max)

In the current scenario, I would ask you to go for a proper gynecological evaluation, exclude any infection, get a pelvic sonogram to know the status of the ovaries, to look for any cysts of the ovary which can cause hormone disturbances thereby causing altered bleeding pattern. A complete hormone profile, glucose tolerance assessment and blood counts along with urinalysis help to detect the cause of this pattern and plan further management.
Weight gain is a side effect of the possible altered hormone levels. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle.
